John is definitely one of the worlds driven individuals and definitely not a “one toe in the water guy”. Readers with long memories will remember that 1981 was not a great time to set up a company. However, when the opportunity came up to set up his own business John committed himself wholeheartedly and the early years of hard work and dedication certainly paid dividends.

From humble beginnings in a 500sq ft unit, County now trades from the old Co-op building in Pontnewydd, Cwmbran. This structure is a substantial building providing almost 25,000 sq ft including the well-stocked showroom and offices. Non-display stock is also held in an additional 4,500 square ft of containers.

County Industrial Supplies Ltd have space and facility to accommodate over 250,000 stock items. The Company is possibly one of the largest ex-stock suppliers of engineering consumables, workwear, fastenings, power tools and hand tools in South Wales.
